Chaharshanbeh Soori Celebration at the Salon

On Tuesday, March 12th, we were thrilled to host a Chaharshanbeh Soori celebration at our salon, a beloved Iranian tradition held on the eve of the last Wednesday before Norouz, the Persian New Year.

While we were unable to have a traditional bonfire for jumping, we improvised with candles and still enjoyed the symbolic ritual of jumping over the flames, representing the purification of the soul and the triumph of light over darkness.

Our program included performances of traditional music and dance, as well as activities for children such as egg painting and gift-giving. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner, with attendees welcome to bring their own food or enjoy the meal provided by us. Snacks, beverages, tea, coffee, and water were available throughout the evening.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us for this special event, and we look forward to celebrating together again next year.
